Normaly it´s simple to define if a frankig is single, multiple or mixed. But sometimes there are different opinions.

Multiple franking: franked with 2 postage stamps with the same design
Mixed franking: franked with postage stamps in different colour shades (brown and dark brown)

Multiple franking: franked with 5 postage stamps with the same design
Mixed franking: franked with postage stamps with 2 different sizes of perforation (11¼ : 11 and 14)

Multiple franking: franked with 2 postage stamps with the same design
Mixed franking: franked with one postage stamp with perforation and without separation

Multiple franking: franked with 10 postage stamps with the same design
Mixed franking: franked with postage stamps with 2 different watermarks (2 x Wm. 1 lozenges, 8 x Wm. 2 network)

Single franking: franked with one vertical se-tenant
Multiple franking: franked with 2 postage stamps with the same design
Mixed franking: franked with 2 postage stamps with a different partly perforation each

Multiple franking: franked with horizontal se-tenants with 2 postage stamps each
Mixed franking: franked with 2 postage stamps with different designs

Single franking: franked with one sheet
Multiple franking: franked with 10 postage stamps with the same design

Single franking: franked with one stamp impression
Mixed franking: franked with 2 stamp impressions with printed perforation in between
